How to create a setup

A setup is a page for one set of gear, such as your desk, the kit in one video, or your everyday carry. Click Create, then Create Setup, and work through these steps.

Step 1: Choose categories

Pick the category the setup belongs in, such as Tech & Desk, Gaming or Photography. Categories decide where your setup appears when people browse setups on Setup101.

Each plan allows a number of setups per category: one on Free, two on Pro and three on Pro Plus. If you reach the limit, you'll see a message naming the categories that are full.

Step 2: Photos, title and description

Upload photos of the setup and give it a title (for example, "My Desk Setup") and a description. The description is the place to explain what the setup is for and why you chose the gear. It also helps people find your setup.

Step 3: Video and social links

Add a video link if you've made a video about the setup. On Pro and Pro Plus you can also add social links for the setup, such as the YouTube video or TikTok where it appears.

Step 4: Total price and privacy

• Total price: a setup's total price is worked out from the prices of the products in it. Turn on Hide the Setup total Price if you'd rather not show it.
• Privacy: turn on Make this setup private to hide it. Only you can see a private setup, and the products attached to it become private too. Public setups appear on your profile and can be found by people browsing setups.

After you publish

Add products to the setup (see adding products and buy links), then share its link. You can edit the setup at any time, and its link stays the same.
