Honest limits
Where Geniuslink is better
No tool wins on everything, and a comparison that pretends otherwise is not worth reading. Here is where Geniuslink genuinely has the advantage.
- International Amazon routing: one link sends shoppers in the UK, Germany, Canada and elsewhere to their own Amazon store, so you don't lose those sales.
- Link-level control: A/B traffic splits, choice pages that let a shopper pick a retailer, vanity URLs, tags and UTMs.
- It works for any link you share, not just product recommendations.
Switching
Moving from Geniuslink to Setup101
- 01You don't have to choose. On Pro, a Setup101 product's buy link can be any web address, so you can paste a geni.us link into each product and keep Geniuslink's country routing.
- 02Group the products you already link to into setups: one setup per video, room or kit.
- 03Put your setup link (or your Setup101 profile) in your video descriptions and bio, instead of a long list of individual links.
Links you've already put in old videos and posts will keep pointing at Geniuslink until you change them. Update your most-viewed content first, using our free link checker to find any that are already broken. Then use one permanent setup link per video, so this is the last time you edit them.
