How do I manage emails from creators I follow?
Go to Settings → Notification → Creator updates. You can switch push and email on or off for each creator, choose whether the New from creators you follow email comes weekly or daily, or turn off Emails from creators to stop them all at once.
How to change your creator emails
- Open Settings and click the Notification tab.
- Scroll to Creator updates.
- Under Creators you get updates from, switch Push or Email on or off for each creator.
- Under New from creators you follow, choose Weekly or Daily.
- To stop every creator's emails, switch off Emails from creators.
Changes save straight away.
What emails can I get from creators?
- Their newsletters and sequences, if you chose to get their emails.
- New from creators you follow: one roundup email with the new setups and products from the creators you get emails from. It comes weekly, on Mondays, unless you switch it to daily.
Creators never see your email address. They see your name and username if you're signed in.
How do I unsubscribe from an email?
Click Unsubscribe at the bottom of any creator email. You can unsubscribe from just that creator or from all creator emails. If you signed up with just your email and don't have an account, use the links at the bottom of the email, including the one to switch between weekly and daily.
FAQ
Can I reply to a creator's email?
No. Creator emails come from noreply@updates.setup101.io. To contact the creator, message them on Setup101: every email links to their profile.
I followed a creator. Will I get their emails?
Only if you ticked Emails from the creator when you followed them, or subscribed on their profile. Following on its own gets you push notifications about their new setups.
Does unfollowing stop their emails?
Yes. Unfollowing a creator also stops their updates.
