Newsletters
Send your setup to your subscribers. Every link still works next year.
Setup101 gives creators one permanent link for all the gear they recommend — and more ways to earn from it.
Setup101 newsletters let creators send gear updates to their followers: collect email subscribers, write issues with their own products, setups and courses dropped in, and publish each issue as a page on setup101.io for free. Emailing the list is on Pro.

I finally fixed the cable mess. Here's everything that stayed on the desk, and the one thing I sent back.

How it works
From signup to first issue
- 01
Collect subscribers
Your signup form goes on your profile and a hosted signup page straight away. On Pro, embed it on your own website too.
- 02
Write an issue
Open Marketing → Broadcasts and click New newsletter. Write it like a post, then add products, setups and courses from your library.
- 03
Test it
Preview the email and send yourself a test. Tests don't use your sends.
- 04
Publish and send
Publish it on setup101.io for free. On Pro, email it to your subscribers too, now or scheduled for later.
- 05
See what worked
Check opens, clicks and product clicks for each issue, and how your list is growing.
Step by step: writing and sending a newsletter.
Build your list
Subscribers from wherever people find you
Every creator gets a signup form automatically. Edit the headline, button and thank-you message, ask for a first name if you like, and choose whether people get all your emails or just the weekly roundup.

- A signup box on every newsletter page you publish.
The editor
Drop in your products, setups and courses
Write with text, headings, images and video, then open your library and drop things in: up to 6 products side by side, a setup with its live gear list, or a course with an Enrol button. Drag them into place or click to insert.
Short on time? Ready-made sections do the layout for you: a new setup announcement, gear you're using this month, a course promo, a product spotlight or your latest setups. Product cards use your buy and affiliate links.

On the web
Every issue can be a page
Publish any issue on setup101.io, under your newsletter page at setup101.io/profile/your-username/newsletter. Choose a Public page that search engines can find, a Teaser + subscribe that shows the start and asks people to join, or Don't publish for email-only notes. Every page has your product cards and a signup box, and its link is ready to share. Publishing on the web.
Sequences
A welcome series that runs itself
A sequence sends a few emails in order after someone subscribes. Start from a template (Welcome, Course launch or Win back), edit the emails, set the gaps between them and turn it on. It stops when they unsubscribe, and you can stop it when they enrol in a course or click a product. Sequences can start from a form, a course enrolment, a product click or a quiet spell. You can build sequences on Free; Pro runs one Welcome sequence and Pro Plus runs as many as you like. Setting up a welcome sequence.
Product drops
New setups, sent automatically
When you publish a new setup, your followers get a push. When you add a product or change a setup, the people subscribed to it hear about it. And every week your email subscribers get one "New from creators you follow" email with your new setups and products. It all happens automatically and never uses your sends. Followers choose what they get in their settings. How product drops work.
Stats
See which gear people clicked
Each issue shows how many people it was sent to, delivered, opened and clicked, plus product clicks, unsubscribes and web views. Opens are approximate, because some inboxes open every email automatically; clicks and product clicks are counted by Setup101. Sequences show the same numbers for each email, and your forms show views, signups and conversion. Reading your stats.
Your list stays safe
Names, not email addresses
- You see subscribers' names and usernames, never their email addresses.
- Your list can't be exported, so nobody can copy it, sell it or take it elsewhere.
- Every email has one-click unsubscribe, from you or from every creator at once.
- Email signups confirm by email first; unconfirmed ones are removed after 30 days.
- Emails come from "Your name via Setup101" and can't be replied to. Readers message you on Setup101 instead.
Sending
Write, publish, then send
Collecting subscribers, writing issues and publishing them on the web are free. Emailing your list is on Pro (15,000 sends a month) and Pro Plus (50,000 sends a month). Allowances reset on the 1st of each month. See pricing for everything in each plan. Sending limits and extra sends.
Honest limits
What newsletters don't do (yet)
- You can't import a list. You can invite your existing audience instead: one invite each, and only people who click to subscribe join.
- Push broadcasts go to followers with notifications on, at most one a day: 4 a month on Pro, 12 on Pro Plus.
- Newsletters are free to read. Paid newsletters are coming soon.
- Extra sends, with a spend cap you set, are coming soon. Until then, sending stops when you reach your monthly allowance, which resets on the 1st.
- Emails are sent from Setup101's address, not your own domain, and readers can't reply by email.
- There's no list export and no subscriber email addresses, by design.

Back to your setup
Every issue points to your setups
Each issue links to setups whose links never break. Swap a product in a setup later, and readers who open an old issue still land on the setup with its current gear. How permanent links work.
