Public, private and "Not listed yet": who can see your setup
A private setup is only visible to you. A public setup can be opened by anyone with its link, but it only appears in Explore, search and on your profile when it's listed: it has at least one photo and at least one public product or app. Until then the editor shows Not listed yet.
The three states
| State | Who can open it | Appears in Explore, search, your profile? |
|---|---|---|
| Private | Only you | No |
| Public, not listed yet | Anyone with the link | No, and search engines don't index it |
| Public and listed | Everyone | Yes |
How to get a setup listed
- Make sure it's public: in Visibility, Make this setup private is off.
- Add at least one photo.
- Add at least one public product or app with + Add to this setup.
- Click Save. The Not listed yet notice disappears.
Why this rule exists
It keeps empty and spam setups out of Explore, so the setups people find there are real ones with gear in them.
Private products
If you make a setup private, the products in it become private too. A product that's private doesn't count towards listing a setup.
FAQ
My setup is public but not on my profile
It's probably not listed yet. Open it: the notice at the top says what's missing.
Does "not listed" hurt my setup?
No. Add what's missing and it appears straight away.
I see "Not listed" on a card in My library
That's only shown to you, on your own setups that aren't listed yet.
