Setup101 for newsletter writers
Once an issue is sent, its links can't be fixed. Unless they point to one page.
Setup101 gives newsletter writers one link for the products they recommend. Sent emails can't be edited, so linking issues to a setup means you can still swap discontinued products later, and every issue in the archive keeps working.

One link, everywhere
Where to put your setup link.
| Where | What to write | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| Issue footer | "Everything I recommend" + your setup link | Readers can always find the full list. |
| Inside an issue | A setup for that issue's picks | Change a product after sending and the email still works. |
| Welcome email | Your link-in-bio page | New subscribers see every setup at once. |
| Web archive | The same links | Archived issues stay useful for search visitors. |
When something changes, edit the setup — the link stays the same. How permanent links work
How it works
Three steps, about ten minutes.
- 01
Build a setup
Add the products you recommend, from any retailer, with your own affiliate links and promo codes.
- 02
Link issues to it
Use the setup link in your issues instead of linking every product.
- 03
Keep the archive working
When a product changes, replace it in the setup. Every sent issue that links there is up to date.

What Setup101 doesn't do
- Setup101 doesn't change emails you've already sent; issues sent with direct product links keep those links.
- It shows clicks, not sales. Commission reports stay in your own affiliate accounts.
Questions, answered
What newsletter writers ask first.
Can I fix a broken link in a newsletter I already sent?
Not in the email itself. But if the issue links to a Setup101 setup, you replace the product in the setup and the link in the email shows the new one.
Does this work with my newsletter tool?
Yes. A setup link is an ordinary link, so it works in any email or newsletter tool.
Does Setup101 take a cut of my commission?
No. Your links point to your own affiliate accounts, so the commission is yours.
