What is Collabs on Setup101?

Collabs is a Setup101 feature that gives creators one inbox for brand deals and creator collabs. A Request a collab button on your profile, off until you switch it on, lets brands pitch you with a short form, even without an account, and the chat only opens if you accept.

Open Collabs in the sidebar, under Grow in Creator mode. It replaces Messages.

What's in Collabs?

The Collabs page at setup101.io/collabs has three tabs:

  • Inbox: your Requests, Active collabs and Sent requests. This is where you accept, decline, block and chat.
  • Rates: your rate card (Pro and Pro Plus), with a link to your sponsored slot prices. See setting your collab rates.
  • Settings: who can send you requests, the types you're open to, and your button's text and badge.

How do I get started?

  1. Switch on the Collab button in Link-in Bio.
  2. Share your profile link. It's already your link-in-bio, so there's no separate collab link.
  3. Respond to requests in Collabs → Inbox.

FAQ

Is Collabs on the mobile app?

Collabs is on the web for now. An app update is still to come.

Where did my messages go?

Collabs replaces Messages on the web, so go to Collabs → Inbox. Conversations you've accepted are under Active. Old links to Messages take you to Collabs.

Does Setup101 take a cut of brand deals?

No. Social collabs are agreed and paid between you and the brand. Only sponsored slots are paid through Setup101, by Stripe.

Where are sponsored slot requests?

In Sponsored slots in the sidebar, not in Collabs. See accepting or declining a sponsorship request.
