Collabs
Send brands here, not to a flooded inbox.
Setup101 gives creators one permanent link for all the gear they recommend — and more ways to earn from it.
Collabs is a Setup101 feature that gives creators one inbox for brand deals and creator collabs. A Request a collab button on your profile, off until you switch it on, lets brands pitch you with a short form, even without an account, and the chat only opens if you accept.

How it works
From pitch to conversation
- 01
Switch on your button
In Link-in Bio, open Collab requests and turn the button on. It's off for everyone until they choose. Pick the text: Request a collab, Work with me or Business enquiries. Your profile link is your collab link, so there's nothing new to share.
- 02
Choose who can pitch you
In Collabs › Settings, choose who can send requests and the types you're open to: sponsored slots, brand deals, creator collabs, affiliate codes or other.
- 03
Get a structured pitch
A brand picks the type and the platform, and the form asks for what matters there: formats, deal type, budget, go-live date, plus a pitch of up to 500 characters.
- 04
Accept, decline or block
Requests land in Collabs › Inbox. Accept to open the chat, Decline if it isn't for you, or Block a member you never want to hear from.
- 05
Talk it through
The original request stays pinned at the top of the chat, so the details are there when you need them. Replying is free on every plan.
Step by step: turning on collab requests and responding to a request.
Request types
A form that asks the right questions
The request form has two groups. On Setup101 there's the sponsored slot: a product on one of your setups for a set time, booked from the setup page. Social collabs happen on your own channels, agreed between you: brand deal, creator collab, affiliate code or other.
For a social collab, the brand picks YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or Other, and sees that platform's formats, from a Shorts or a Reel to a podcast mention. Every form also covers the deal type (paid, gifted, affiliate, or paid and affiliate), budget and go-live date.

The chat
The deal stays at the top of the chat
Accepting opens a chat with the original request pinned above it. Click View original request to see every answer from the form. Your Inbox sorts everything into Requests, Active and Sent, so a pitch doesn't get lost between other messages.

Sounds good. When does it need to go live?
Before the end of next month, if that works.
For brands
Pitch a creator, no account needed
A brand clicking through from your bio doesn't have to sign up. They fill in the form and confirm their email with a 4-digit code. If you accept, they get an email with a link to the conversation and reply from there. The link works for 30 days, and every new message email brings a fresh one.
Each email address can send 3 requests a day, with one open request per creator. This works when you take requests from Pro and Pro Plus members, which is the default. How requests from brands without an account work.

Plans
Who can do what
Receiving is free. Starting requests to other Setup101 members is what paid plans add. Sponsored slot bookings never use the monthly allowance.

As of 5 November 2026. The allowance resets on the 1st of each month. See pricing for everything on each plan.
Rates
Put your prices in front of the pitch
On Pro and Pro Plus, the Rates tab in Collabs holds your rate card: a starting price for each platform and format, plus optional extras for usage rights, exclusivity and rush delivery. Choose USD, GBP or EUR.
By default brands see your rates only in your request form, so pitches start closer to your prices. You can also show them on your profile. Sponsored slot prices stay in Slot settings. How to set your rate card.

Your call
You stay in control
- The button stays off until you switch it on, and you can switch it off at any time.
- Nobody can send you a normal message first. There's a request, and the chat only opens if you accept.
- You choose who can send: Pro and Pro Plus members and brands without an account, Pro Plus members only, people you follow, or nobody.
- You choose the types you're open to, and only those appear in the form.
- A brand without an account finds out nothing if you decline: their request just stays as waiting.
Honest limits
What Collabs doesn't do (yet)
- Social collabs are agreed between you. Setup101 doesn't take payment for them, and there are no contracts or invoices.
- Sponsored slots are the paid part: they're booked from a setup page and paid through Stripe. Those requests stay in Sponsored slots, with no chat.
- A brand needs a Setup101 account to book a sponsored slot.
- You can't block a brand that has no account yet. Decline the request instead.
- A Setup101 member can see that you declined their request.
- Collabs is on the web for now. An app update is still to come.
- There's no media kit yet.
