How do I sell sponsored slots on my setup?
Open a public setup, go to Sponsored slots, switch on Accept sponsorships, set a price for each length you want to offer and click Save. Brands can then send you requests to feature their product, and you approve each one. You need payouts set up first.
How to sell sponsored slots
- Make sure payouts are set up and the setup is public.
- Open the setup's editor and, in the Visibility section, click Manage slots → next to Sponsored slots. (Or open Sponsored slots in the sidebar and click Slot settings next to the setup.)
- Switch on Accept sponsorships.
- Under Prices, switch on each length you want to offer (1 week, 1 month, 3 months) and enter your price. The lowest price is $50.
- Check the preview next to each price: it shows what you get after Setup101's commission.
- Click Save. You'll see "Saved. Brands can now send requests."
How much should I charge?
It's up to you. A price per length lets you charge more for longer placements. Setup views are the best guide to what your setup is worth to a brand: they're shown in Slots on the same page. The preview under each price shows exactly what you'll receive after Setup101's fee.
How do slots unlock?
Each setup has up to 3 slots, so up to 3 sponsored products can be live at once.

Under Slots, each slot shows Locked (with the views it needs), Open, Request waiting or Sponsored (with the end date).
Can I set a sponsorship up for a brand?
Yes, with a payment link. It's useful when a brand asks you to sort it out for them.
- On the setup's Sponsored slots page, under Payment links, click New payment link.
- Choose the length, and enter the brand name, product name and product link. Add a note if you like.
- Click Create link. The link is copied: send it to the brand by email or message.
- The brand opens it, logs in or signs up, checks the details and pays. It then arrives as a normal request for you to accept or decline.
The brand pays your price for that length. Each link works once and expires after 30 days. You can Cancel a link that hasn't been paid.
FAQ
Can I sponsor my own setup?
No. The product would be labelled as paid for by the brand when it wasn't. If a brand wants you to set it up, send them a payment link instead (see above).
Why can't I switch on Accept sponsorships?
Either payouts aren't set up yet ("Set up payouts before turning this on.") or no length has a price ("Turn on at least one length with a price."). Fix the one shown at the bottom of the page.
Can I sell slots on a private setup?
No. Only public setups can take sponsorships. Sponsored slots in the sidebar marks private setups with "Private: make it public to take sponsorships".
Can I stop taking sponsorships?
Yes. Switch off Accept sponsorships and save. Products that are already live stay until their campaign ends.
Do brands pick which slot they get?
No. The next free slot is used. Brands can see when your next slot is free.
