How do I send a collab request? (Pro and Pro Plus)
Open the creator's profile, click their collab button, choose the type of collab and fill in the form. The request lands in their Collabs inbox, and the chat opens if they accept. Pro can start 3 requests a month and Pro Plus has no limit. Free can't start requests, but can reply to any request it gets.
The button only shows if the creator has switched it on. It might say Request a collab, Work with me or Business enquiries.
How to send a collab request
- Open the creator's profile and click their collab button.
- Under What kind of collab?, choose a type. You only see the types the creator is open to.
- Under Where?, choose YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or Other.
- Pick the formats and fill in the platform's details. Any Starting rates the creator has set are shown here.
- Choose the Deal, Budget and Go-live by date.
- Write Your pitch, up to 500 characters: who you are, the idea and the timing.
- Add a Link if you like: your channel, media kit or product page.
- Click Send request.
Your request shows under Sent in Collabs → Inbox.
What are the request types?
On Setup101
- Sponsored slot: your product on one of their setups for a set time, at a fixed price, paid through Setup101. Click Book a slot to go to their profile, then book from a setup. See how to sponsor a creator.
Social collabs (on their channels, agreed between you)
- Brand deal, Creator collab, Affiliate code or Other.
What does each platform's form ask for?

Each form also has that platform's details, like where in the video or how many stories, and extras, like reuse in ads or approving a draft first.

- The form shows how many you have left.
- It resets on the 1st of each month.
- Every request you start counts, even if it's declined or never answered.
- Replying never counts, on any plan.
- Booking a sponsored slot never counts, and doesn't need a paid plan.
FAQ
Why can't I see a collab button on a profile?
The creator hasn't switched it on, or they've set who can send to Nobody.
Why can't I send this request?
The creator may only take requests from Pro Plus members or people they follow, or they aren't open to that type. See why you can't use a feature.
Can I pay a creator through the request?
Only a sponsored slot is paid through Setup101, by Stripe. Social collabs are agreed and paid between you.
