How many emails can I send each month?

Pro includes 15,000 email sends a month and Pro Plus 50,000. One email to one subscriber counts as one send, so a newsletter to 2,000 subscribers uses 2,000. Your allowance resets on the 1st of each month. Extra sends ($10 per 10,000, with a spend cap you set) are coming soon. Until then, sending stops when you reach your monthly limit.

On Free you can collect subscribers, write newsletters, send yourself a test and publish on the web, but not email your subscribers. Every plan has unlimited subscribers. See features by plan.

Your allowance resets on the 1st of each month, and unused sends don't roll over. Marketing → Audience shows how much you've used and when it resets.

When are extra sends coming?

Extra sends ($10 per 10,000, with a spend cap you set) are coming soon. Until then, sending stops when you reach your monthly limit. In Marketing → Settings you can already switch on Turn on extra sends and set a Monthly cap (USD), but nothing is charged and no extra sends are used until billing goes live. We'll tell you before it starts.

What happens if I run out?

  • Newsletters: a send that would go over your limit is stopped before it starts. Nothing is half-sent.
  • Sequences: people wait and get their next email when your allowance resets on the 1st.

Do unused sends roll over?

No. Your allowance resets on the 1st of each month, and unused sends don't carry over.

Is there a limit on subscribers?

No. Every plan has unlimited subscribers. You pay for what you send, not for the size of your list.

Why can't I send on Free?

Free is for building: collect subscribers, write newsletters and publish them on the web. Upgrade to Pro when you're ready to email them. Your subscribers still hear about your new setups through the weekly "New from creators you follow" email, which Setup101 sends on every plan.
